• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance local networks, server, and network security.
• Develop the core architecture to implement a policy-driven security model at scale across hybrid environments and enable automated detection of threats.
• Develop and maintain DMZ and public facing servers/services.
• Backup and patch management.
• Network hardware and cabling management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5 years of professional hands-on IT experience, within the domain areas of NAS/SAN management, network engineering and network security.
• Experience with implementing VPN at scale across hybrid environments.
• Expert knowledge of IDS/IPS, Firewall, NAT, Routing, Wi-Fi technologies.
• Strong security background, especially in the fields of network security, cloud security and data loss prevention.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, ports, VLAN, VPN, SSO, AAA, LDAP, Radius, BGP, IPv4/IPv6
• Deep knowledge of Cisco network equipment configuration and management including Cisco Firepower appliances, Cisco Switches.
• Experience working with Snort, Log analysis, Command line tools and Cisco API
• Experience working with distributed teams.
• Experience with Security Compliance requirements and frameworks including NIST 800 etc.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally.
• Demonstrated ability to weigh business needs with security priorities and make sound risk-based judgment calls.
• The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze and assess a problem, decompose complex issues, and develop solutions and strategies to operational scenarios. Additional qualifications include:
• Background in telecommunications networks is a plus
• Background in Cloud networking is a plus
• Security+, Network+, CCNA is a plus
