Overview

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a hands-on RF Engineer II to join our team. with strong experience in field testing, drive testing, and RF performance optimization, along with exposure to CBRS (Band 48) and private LTE/5G networks.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in the field—collecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting real-world RF performance—while supporting next-generation wireless deployments including small cells, CBRS, and private network solutions.

Who We Are: The Architects of What Connects Us

You find the signal in the noise of data. We build the signal itself.

We are TeleWorld Solutions, and we are the strategic backbone for the world's most ambitious wireless networks. We're not just consultants; we're the engineers, designers, and problem-solvers that operators, OEMs, and tower giants trust to bring their boldest visions to life.

Our playground is the invisible architecture of connection—from vast macro networks to the hyper-precise world of DAS, Small Cells, and Wi-Fi. With a legacy of hundreds of thousands of successful implementations, we help our clients navigate the entire lifecycle of their network: from the first line of a design to the final optimization, and every critical decision about performance and value in between.2025 awards

Why does this matter to you?

The complex data you will master—the CDRs, network KPIs, and customer signals—flows from the very infrastructure we design and optimize. You won't just be analyzing abstract numbers; you'll be interpreting the digital heartbeat of networks that we helped bring to life. Your insights will directly influence the next generation of those networks.

Here, your work as a data storyteller is powered by deep, tangible engineering excellence. You provide the "what" and "why." We provide the "how" on a global scale.

Welcome to the engine room of connection. Let's build what's next

Responsibilities

RF Field Testing & Performance Validation

    • Perform hands-on drive testing and walk testing to evaluate RF performance across LTE and 5G networks
    • Collect and analyze field data using tools such as TEMS, Nemo, XCAL, or similar platforms
    • Evaluate key RF KPIs including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, latency, and call performance
    • Conduct post-processing and analysis of log files to identify coverage gaps, interference, and performance issues

Troubleshooting & Optimization

    • Diagnose and resolve real-time RF issues in the field including coverage degradation, handover failures, and interference
    • Recommend and implement optimization changes (antenna tilt, azimuth, power adjustments, neighbor relations)
    • Collaborate with RF design and optimization teams to validate network improvements

CBRS & Private Network Support

    • Support deployment, testing, and optimization of CBRS (Band 48) and private LTE/5G networks
    • Assist with SAS integration, spectrum coordination, and CBRS-specific performance validation
    • Perform testing and validation for small cells and enterprise/private network environments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with RAN, construction, integration, and operations teams to support network deployment and issue resolution
    • Participate in field readiness, site acceptance, and cluster optimization activities
    • Provide detailed reporting and updates to internal teams and customers

Documentation & Reporting

    • Generate field test reports, performance summaries, and optimization recommendations
    • Maintain accurate logs of testing activities, configurations, and issue tracking
    • Support customer deliverables and close-out documentation

Qualifications

    • 3–6+ years of experience in RF engineering with strong hands-on field testing experience
    • Proven experience with drive testing and post-processing tools (TEMS, Nemo, XCAL, or similar)
    • Strong understanding of RF KPIs: RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, latency
    • Experience troubleshooting RF performance issues in live network environments
    • Exposure to CBRS (Band 48), private LTE, or private 5G networks
    • Knowledge of LTE and 5G NR network architecture and performance principles
    • Ability to travel and perform field work (including extended hours as needed)

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with CBRS SAS systems (e.g., Federated Wireless, Google, etc.)
    • Background supporting small cells, DAS, or in-building wireless systems
    • Familiarity with Atoll, MapInfo, or similar RF planning tools
    • Experience working with major OEMs (Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia)
    • Scripting or automation exposure (Python, macros, etc.)

What Makes This Role Unique

    • Strong emphasis on real-world, hands-on RF field work (not just desk-based design)
    • Opportunity to work on next-generation wireless technologies (CBRS, Private 5G)
    • High visibility across deployment, optimization, and emerging network architectures
